DAY 1: KILIMA SAFARI CAMP, AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Amboseli National Park
Located in the southern reaches of Kenya, the Amboseli National Park is renowned for its excellent variety of wildlife such as Masaai giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah and not surprisingly it is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the majestic snow cap of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok. The birding is excellent, especially closer to the lakes and swamps. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to large herds of elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and soak up spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Day Itinerary
Early morning flight Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). Meet and greet and assisted by a AMA Safaris Ltd representative. Depart and drive southwards of the country to Amboseli National Park, journey takes 3hrs to 4hrs. In the early afternoon arrive for Lunch, and relax as you wait for your afternoon game drive at 1600hrs.
Dinner and Overnight at Kilima Safari Camp.
A luxurious tented camp with breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilima Safari Camp is located in the Kimana area in Amboseli National Park, next to the Kimana Gate Park Entrance. The camp is set out on a 360 acre site with Spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The Kimana area of Amboseli is famous for its large elephant population. Clients can enjoy great viewing from their tents which face the Animal water pools and all public areas and guest rooms are set towards Mount Kilimanjaro.

DAY 2: KILIMA SAFARI CAMP, AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Day Itinerary
This is your full day to explore the Amboseli National Park. Famous for its large herds of elephants and in particular their big tusk, a day in Amboseli is surely a highlight of your safari.
Amboseli is an enormous volcanic plateau, almost totally eroded and dry, and is dominated by the majestic peaks of the eternally snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, with a height of almost 6000metres above sea level, earning itself the name “The rooftop of Africa”. Curiously, and somewhat due to the good filtration of the volcanic rocks, this arid landscape contains several marshes and swamps, whose waters attract an extensive assortement of wildlife: gazelles, impalas, gerenuks, zebras, wildebeest, buffalos and lions, among others, finding solace in this harsh country. However, the biggest attraction of the park is the elephants, ambling along in huge herds with the incomparable Mt. Kilimanjaro as a backdrop.

DAY 3: NYERI OUTSPAN HOTEL, ABERDARE
Aberdare
Situated in the magnificent Aberdare Highlands, northeast of Nairobi, Aberdare is an amazing highland safari area featuring mountains, lush forests and steep ravines teeming with the best of Africa’s varied wildlife including the majestic elephant and rhino. This area is made up of the Aberdare Mountain Range, which forms part of the eastern side of the Great Rift Valley as well as a vast savannah covered moorland plateau. The sheer natural beauty of Aberdare has placed it on the UNESCO World Heritage list and draws visitors from all corners of the globe.
Day Itinerary
Early morning breakfast. At exactly 0700hrs. Depart for your route to Aberdares National park via Nairobi for Lunch at the Safari Park Hotel and Casino. Proceed for a 2hrs -3hrs Northeast of Nairobi. The Outspan is nestled in the Aberdares Highlands, part of Great Rift Valley. This captivating site was the homestead of an British couple that decided to settle in Kenya, almost half a century later, their home. Arrive in the late afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure in the hotel. Meals and overnight at the lodge.
Overnight: Nyeri Outspan Hotel
Outspan is located in Nyeri town, right in the heart of Kenya’s tea and coffee growing highlands. It is the nearest hotel to the spectacular Karuru Falls and is an Eden of vibrant gardens and verdant green lawns. Peacocks add to the charming ambiance as they roam at will. Outspan, the starting point for guests going to the world-renowned Treetops, has 3 cottages, 14 deluxe and 28 spacious standard rooms. Most of the rooms have fire place and garden access. It is also an idyllic corporate retreat with fully-equipped conference rooms, computer and internet access, and other business facilities. Meals are served in the dining room or on a wide verandah. DAY 4: NYERI OUTSPAN HOTEL, ABERDARE
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, drive to The Ol Pejeta Conservancy for morning and afternoon game drive. Lunch will be served at the Serena Sweetwaters Camp. The conservancy is home to the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. At 1700hrs drive back to Aberdare Outspan for your dinner and overnight.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Resting at the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountain Range, in central Kenya’s Laikipia County, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the largest black rhino sanctuary in Sub Saharan Africa. It is also home to the last three remaining northern white rhino in the world. Originally a working cattle ranch in colonial Kenya and now a pioneering wildlife conservancy, Ol Pejeta works to protect wildlife and provide a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. The Conservancy is a popular safari destination and is home to the renowned ‘Big Five’ as well as a wide selection of other African animals including: zebra, giraffe, hippo, cheetah, jackal, serval, hyena, vervet monkey and many more. Visitors can enjoy an assortment of outdoor activities such as horse rides, game walks, and nocturnal game drives.

DAY 5: SUNBIRD LODGE, LAKE ELMENTEITA
Lake Elmenteita
Elmenteita, meaning ‘place of dust’, is a small soda lake which attracts many visiting flamingos. It has been named as a World Heritage Site for its prolific birdlife. This is where Kenya’s most famous settler Lord Delamere lived and he was responsible for much of Kenya’s early agricultural experimentation in the fertile area, the area is still inhabited by some of his descendants. The shores are often alive with wildlife and the surrounding forests are perfect for long walks and birding. Visitors can look forward to visiting the Kekopey hot springs, spotting over 400 bird species and game viewing along the lake’s edge, which is abundant with eland, kudu, zebra, gazelle, and warthog families.
Day Itinerary
Breakfast at the hotel followed by the hotel check out. 0800hrs – you will be picked for the day’s drive taking you past the Aberdares mountain range to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, stop over at the Thompson Falls,then continue destination Soysambu Ranch, where the well – appointed Sunbird Lodge is located. The ecosystem, being part of the Great Rift Valley and with the presence of the alkaline lake of Elmentaita supports lots of bird life as well as lots of plans game. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drives in the Soysambu conservancy.

DAY 6: SUNBIRD LODGE, LAKE ELMENTEITA
Day Itinerary
0800hrs -Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous as the home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo. This park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, leopard, tree climbing lions, black and white rhinos. 1230hrs – 1400hrs – Lunch at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp. After lunch you will proceed on afternoon game viewing drives. After the game drive back to Lake Elementaita.
Lake Nakuru National Park
Located in the Great Rift Valley surrounded by yellow acacia woodlands and bushy shrublands, the Lake Nakuru National Park was created to protect the Lake and its large flocks of Lesser Flamingo, which are drawn to the algae that flourish in the saline waters of this soda lake. The national park is inhabited by over 50 mammal species including hippo, black and white rhino, Rothschild giraffe, buffalo and eland. Known as a bird watcher’s paradise, the park is home to over 450 bird species. Visitors can look forward to hiking through the scenic landscape, picnicking next to this magnificent lake, and spotting an array of wildlife on a game drive. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the beautiful Makalia Waterfall.

DAY 7: LA MAISON ROYALE MARA CAMP, MASAI MARA
Masai Mara
The Masai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park, the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The image of acacia trees dotting endless grass plains epitomises Africa for many, then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need go no further. The undeniable highlight of the Masai Mara Game Reserve is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration traversing the vast plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. It is known as the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. Large prides of lions, elephants, giraffes, gazelles and eland can also be spotted in the reserve. Aside from horse riding safaris and traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Mara plains has become almost essential.

0730hrs – Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Overnight: La Maison Royale Mara Camp
You might wonder what Mara means in the beautiful language of Maa (Masai Language)! Mara means “spotted” and in essence you can spot our 22-tented luxury camp, La Maison Royale Mara Camp (LMR Mara Camp) from a great distance in the adventurous kingdom. LMR Mara Camp is located in a private Olare Motorogi Conservancy in the Maasai Mara ecosystem in Kenya.

Day Itinerary
Breakfast and check out. Depart at 0730hrs. Drive to Nairobi via stopover at the Rift Valley View point. Proceed to Nairobi. Lunch at the Carnival Restaurant. Later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
