Resting at the foot of Mount Meru, the sprawling city of Arusha is known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania. Guests arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport are met by AMA Safaris Tanzanian representative and transferred to Gran Melia Arusha for an overnight.

Situated in Tanzania’s central-northern region with the Lake Manyara on its east and the Manyara Escarpment to its west, the Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats supporting an array of wildlife. This small park is home to surprising biodiversity and features a magnificent landscape of acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. The park supports 400 species of bird, and the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world. Other species include giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, warthog, the Cape clawless otter, and Egyptian mongoose. Poised adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro is a grand mansion that exudes old-world charm in north-west Tanzania. After breakfast at the Manor, transfer to Manyara airstrip for a morning schedule light aircraft flight to Serengeti National Park. On arrival at Lobo airstrip, met and transfer to the lodge in lodge vehicle arriving in time for lunch. Thereafter enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti. The early morning calm air of the Serengeti East has made possible the introduction of Hot Air Balloon flights, available as an optional tour of a hot air balloon ride to see the park from a bird’s eye view (Please reserve early to avoid disappointment for this adventure!).
