Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
One of the original natural wonders of the world, the Victoria Falls is a World Heritage Site and an extremely popular tourism attraction. Known locally as ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ this spectacle is accessible from both Zambia and Zimbabwe and it is an ideal place to combine a game viewing and water sports. There is excellent fishing, a terrifying bungee jump and arguably the best commercial white water rafting in the world.
Overnight: Bayete Guest Lodge
Bayete offers comfortable and affordable accommodation and is situated in the heart of the Victoria Falls Residential Area. The lodge is 2 km away from the Victoria Falls Centre and 22 km from the airport. Recently renovated, this family run lodge has 25 rooms which is set in a lush tropical garden. Central to the lodge is the large tear drop pool which is hugged by the Caldecott Boma and Ngwezi Tavern. Breakfast is served in the Caldecott Boma every day. Lunch and dinner are also available on special request and are delicious home cooked meals. Buffets and BBQ’s are available for group bookings or by special request.

DAY 3 – 5: RIVER VIEW LODGE, CHOBE RIVER FRONT
Chobe River Front
The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park, renowned for its reliable and diverse game viewing. Safaris are conducted both by boat and on land. This section of the park is best known for its elephant and hippo populations but the waters attract all manner of game including large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them.

DAY 7 – 9: CAMP SAVUTI, SAVUTI – CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Savuti – Chobe National Park
Savuti, also known as Savute lies in the heart of Botswana’s beautiful Chobe National Park. This dynamic wilderness is a sweeping expanse of savannah brooded over by several rocky outcrops which guard a relic marsh and the dry channel that was once its lifeline.
The Savute goes through wet and dry cycles, where wild dogs hunt in the dry river channel where crocodiles swam only twenty years ago. Visitors to this spectacular area can spot abundant wildlife including: a variety of birds, elephants, antelope, lion prides, black-backed jackal, bat-eared foxes, tsessebe, kudu, hyena, cheetah Cape buffalo herds, and thousands of migrating zebra and wildebeest.
Overnight: Camp Savuti
Camp Savuti has become famous for its exceptional game viewing opportunities, in particular it is famed for lions that prey and hunt on elephants, which are found in abundance in the area.
Award-winning documentaries have been shot in the Savuti area, cementing its reputation as a prime wildlife destination. The Savuti channel was a dry channel that began flowing again in 2010. Minor earth tremors caused the unblocking of the Savuti channel which is linked to the Linyanti river system.
Camp Savuti overlooks the dense Savuti marsh area and all 5 of the Meru-style tented rooms have elevated balconies taking advantage of these views. The large, spacious tents are located in such a way that they enjoy privacy and exclusivity. For the adventurous, there are outdoor showers where you can cleanse while enjoy the tranquility of the African bush.
Guests can enjoy a range of activities from game drives through the Chobe National Park and exploring the fringes of the channel and the marsh. The area is diverse and guests will delight in the superb game viewing on offer. From photography to bird watching and predator sightings, Camp Savuti is the authentic safari gem of the Chobe region.

DAY 9 – 11: MBUDI CAMPSITE KHWAI, KHWAI CONSERVANCY
Khwai Conservancy
Botswana’s Khwai Conservancy lies along the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. This is an unfenced boundary allowing wildlife to move freely between the woodlands in the wet season when water is plentiful, and back to permanent rivers and lagoons in the dry season.
The Khwai area offers the same wildlife experience as the reserve with the added advantage of being a private concession which means the ability to do walking safaris and night drives. Visit the Khwai village and take part in eco-tourism and cultural activities.
Species in the conservancy include lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, zebra, cheetah, wild dog, giraffe, eland, sable, hippo, hyena and an array of nocturnal species. The area is also home to the relatively rare Roan and Sable Antelope.

DAY 11 – 13: MOREMI SOUTH GATE CAMPSITE, MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Moremi Game Reserve
The amazing foresight of Chief Moremi created one of the world’s most famous reserves, conserving part of the Okavango Delta and the plains to its east. The reserve covers more than 4871kms of pristine wilderness, and the varied terrain includes savannah, winding waterways, and thick forest.
This diversity supports an incredibly wide spectrum of wildlife, ranging from large herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra, to the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope, and lion, cheetah and packs of wild dog in the open grasslands. The birdlife is prolific and includes most of the 550 bird species recorded on the Botswana national bird list.
A range of luxury lodges in the reserve offer visitors the perfect base to experience this corner of paradise.

DAY 13: CROCODILE CAMP, MAUN
Maun
Maun is the starting point for most expeditions into the Okavango Delta and as a result, has developed into a bustling metropolis that is considered Botswana’s tourism capital. Area attractions include boat cruises up and down the Thamalakane River or daytrips in to Moremi Game Reserve.

Overnight: Crocodile Camp
Crocodile Camp is located a 12 km drive away from the small town of Maun, towards the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. Situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River, the camp hosts an abundance of bird life with the occasional hippo or crocodile. The camp grounds are beautifully maintained with a private swimming pool for residents and a restaurant for scrumptious meals. The guest accommodations offer well equipped standard chalets for a comfortable stay, and deluxe chalets for a more luxurious experience. All chalets feature en suite bathrooms, with wooden verandas, ceiling fans, mosquito nets and housekeeping.
