DAY 1: SERENGETI KATI KATI TENTED CAMP, CENTRAL SERENGETI
Central Serengeti
Situated in the heart of Tanzania, the Central Serengeti encompasses the world-famous Seronera Valley which is known for its prime wildlife-viewing opportunities. This picture-perfect landscape is characterized by endless stretches of savannah-covered open plains, interspersed by rocky outcrops of granite, scattered with acacia woodlands and covered in a network of rivers and streams. The Central Serengeti forms part of the great wildebeest and zebra migration and provides an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife such as giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, serval and much more. Popular activities include: game viewing, cultural tours, horse riding safaris, and hot air ballooning over the spectacularly scenic terrain.
Day Itinerary
Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will remain on transit to connect your flight to Serengeti National Park departing at 0930hrs to arrive Seronera Airstrip at 1420hrs. Lunch not included.
Upon arrival you will be met upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip by our representative who will transfer you to Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp. Late afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati

The camp offers comfortable accommodation and a unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari camp experience. The camp is only a two hour scenic drive from Olduvai Gorge Museum and Grumeti River. A cosy mess tent islocated in the centre of the camp where meals are served. The campfire is ready every evening for appetizers and snacks before dinner. Ten double tents and one family tent with en suite facilities. There are several airstrips in the National Park that receive schedule flights from Arusha as well as charter flights.

DAY 3: COUNTRY LODGE KARATU, KARATU
Karatu
Travellers heading for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater will inevitably pass through the town of Karatu in the green hills of Tanzania’s northern highlands. Presided over by the towering Ol Deani Volcano, this small, colourful town serves as a popular overnight stop for visitors exploring the area’s many game parks. The town offers a variety of activities including browsing the bustling marketplace, sampling beer at a local brewery, visiting a traditional Iraqw homestead, or taking a guided walk through the Ngorongoro Forest in search of waterfalls and elephants caves. Whether you are looking for cultural tours, hiking and biking opportunities, a chance to enjoy an authentic rural Tanzania experience, or simply a break between safari game drives, this underrated town has plenty to offer.

Day Itinerary
After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes from the lodge and drive to the Ngorongoro crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. On arrival descend into the crater for a full day crater tour, have your packed lunch at the bottom of the crater, in the evening ascend to the rim and drive to back to your lodge. DAY 5: BURUDIKA MANYARA LODGE, LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Lake Manyara National Park
Situated in Tanzania’s central-northern region with the Lake Manyara on its east and the Manyara Escarpment to its west, the Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats supporting an array of wildlife. This small park is home to surprising biodiversity and features a magnificent landscape of acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. The park supports 400 species of bird, and the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world. Other species include giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, warthog, the Cape clawless otter, and Egyptian mongoose. Don’t miss the opportunity to see thousands of flamingos on the lake, the renowned tree-climbing lions, and large families of elephants strolling through the forest.

Burudika lodge is an affordable accommodation within the Jangwani wildlife corridor area that joins the wildlife ecosystem of Tarangire and Manyara National Parks. The lodge provides a spectacular view of Lake Manyara and the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Jangwani wildlife corridor area is within the Mto wa Mbu Game Controlled Area (GCA) where different mammals and bird species roam freely between Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. It is home to a stunning diversity of wildlife in the typically sun-drenched savannah of East Africa. This area also is home to the Maasai, an ethnic group that values conservation and wildlife. The Maasai have co-existed with wildlife for a long time because of their non-hunting culture. Within this area, it is not uncommon to meet the Maasai with cattle herds. Burudika Manyara Lodge co-exists with the Maasai and their traditions.

DAY 7: ZAN VIEW HOTEL, KIWENGWA
Kiwengwa
Situated on the island of Unguja, the village of Kiwengwa is set along the island’s spectacular northeastern coast. Sandwiched between the quaint coastal villages of Pwani Mchangani and Pongwe, Kiwengwa is best known for its spectacularly scenic beach featuring glittering white sands lapped by azure crystalline waters.
