DAY 1: THE SAROVA STANLEY, NAIROBI

Nairobi

Situated in along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place, and although it has developed a reputation which keeps tourist visits brief, there are some fascinating attractions: its cafe culture, unbridled nightlife, the National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum,Giraffe Centre and most notably just 20 minutes from the city centre wild lions and buffalo roam in the world’s only urban game reserve. Make sure you pay a visit to the Elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

DAY 2: MBWEHA CAMP, SOYSAMBU CONSERVANCY

Soysambu Conservancy

Soysambu Conservancy, a unique and beautiful wildlife reserve, lies on the border of the Elmenteita Badlands and Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Vast areas of the glassy lake and beautiful wetlands watched over by purple mountains create wonderful scenes perfect for guided tours, game drives and self-exploration adventures, as well as some breathtaking photography opportunities. Huge flocks of pink pelicans, which breed here each year, can be seen swooping in. Animal lovers will also delight in the chance to spot colobus monkeys, Rothschild’s giraffes, and about 450 bird species.

Day Itinerary

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Drive to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in the diverse park, one of the best places to see rhinos and Rothschild Giraffe. Return for dinner and overnight at Mbweha Camp.

Overnight: Mbweha Camp  

Nestled on the southern border of Lake Nakuru National Park, Mbweha Camp is 2.5hours away from Nairobi and overlooks the scenic Eburru and Mau ranges. The accommodation features a spacious lounge, a dining area and ten rustic cottages with thatched roofs. Guests can experience day and night game drives, bush walks, picnic lunches, a visit to the prehistoric site of Kariandusi, and day trips into Nakuru National Park.

DAY 3: LOYK MARA LUXURY CAMP, OLARE MOTOROGI CONSERVANCY

Olare Motorogi Conservancy

The Olare Motorogi Conservancy is an 85km² expanse of prime private wilderness in southwest Kenya which forms part of the Maasai Mara – Serengeti ecosystem and wildlife dispersal zone. The conservancy lies immediately to the northwest of the main Maasai Mara Reserve. Tourism is limited to a maximum of 94 beds which maximizes the client wilderness experience and minimizes the environmental impact of tourism. Open hills provide a habitat for a diverse range of grazers, including giraffes, zebras, hartebeests, and warthogs. These herds attract large numbers of predators, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. In between the hills run a number of small seasonal streams, fringed by stretches of forest which are home to a broader range of species including baboons, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and leopards.

Day Itinerary

After breakfast, the journey continues to the world-famous Masai Mara Park arriving in time for lunch at Loyk Mara Camp. Afternoon game drives in Maasai Mara. Return for dinner and overnight at Loyk Mara Camp.

Overnight: Loyk Mara Luxury Camp          

Loyk Mara Luxury Camp is exclusively located in Olare Motorogi Conservancy on the boarder of Ntiakitiak River. The Camp has been settled down on 50 acres of private land where you are surrounded by nothing else but exceptional and stunning scenery and a panoramic background view of wildlife.

For fly in Clients we use Ol kiombo Airstrip 20km from the camp and take 30 minutes drive with the game drives to the camp. For drive in from Nairobi It’s between 5 – 6 hours drive with stopovers.

DAY 4: LOYK MARA LUXURY CAMP, OLARE MOTOROGI CONSERVANCY

Day Itinerary

(On this day you have a chance of departing for an early morning balloon ride with champagne-style breakfast at an extra cost per person – 450USD not included in the quote)

After breakfast enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Mara reserve; The Masai Mara National Reserve is approximately 1510km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife, It hosts over 95 species of mammals and 570 recorded species of bird. All member of the “BIG FIVE “ ( Lion , leopard , African elephant African buffalo and black Rhinoceros ) are found in this reserve , other animals found in this reserves are Hippo’s , Nile Crocodiles , Hyenas , cheetahs, jackals and bat –eared foxes .

DAY 5: MBALAGETI SERENGETI, SERENGETI WESTERN CORRIDOR

Serengeti Western Corridor

Defined by its two parallel rivers: the Mbalageti and the Grumeti, the Serengeti’s remote Western Corridor is home to a dazzling array of animal, bird and floral species. This region becomes a hive of activity around July, when it offers front row seats to the Great Migration, with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and other migratory species thundering through the area’s woodlands and across its plains. While this is undoubtedly the annual wildlife highlight, the Western Corridor offers good game viewing throughout the year, with guided walks, horse riding safaris and balloon trips offered as an alternative to drives.

Day Itinerary

After breakfast, collect picnic lunch boxes and cross the border at Isebania driving through the little-visited, scenic “Western Corridor” of Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Mbalageti Serengeti.

Mbalageti Serengeti is located in the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania. The Lodge offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama view of the Serengeti Plain lands and the Mbalageti River, where one of the main attractions is the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra.

Mbalageti is actually the word from old Maa language. It means wildebeest, but the word is no longer in use; today Mbalageti refers to the seasonal river.

DAY 7: NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE, NGORONGORO CRATER

Ngorongoro Crater

Located in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is best known for its natural beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife; which makes it one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-listed crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Visitors can look forward to spotting the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species including large herds of zebra and wildebeest. It is famed as one of Tanzania’s best tourist attractions offering visitors an array of wonderful activities including excellent bird watching, trekking, wildlife viewing, and mountain biking and visiting a local Maasai village. Don’t miss the opportunity to jump on an excursion to the magnificent Olduvai Gorge.

Day Itinerary

After breakfast at the lodge. Collect your picnic lunch boxes and with gamer drives en – route, drive through the wide steppe to the unique Ngorongoro Crater.  Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Perched on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, the magnificent Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is the only property on the eastern rim of this World Heritage Site.

Accommodating 186 guests in its 97 spacious en-suite bedrooms, the Lodge has its own private road to the crater floor.  The Lodge is perfectly situated to explore the abundant game in what is often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”.  Its location offers awe-inspiring views over the crater and some of the most breathtaking sunsets to be seen in Tanzania.

Each suite has a private lounge with mini-bar, en-suite bathroom, central heating and a private solarium.  The Lodge has telephone facilities, satellite TV, a conference room, and a swimming pool situated on the very edge of the rim.

DAY 8: NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE, NGORONGORO CRATER

Day Itinerary

After breakfast, collect picnic lunch boxes and descend onto the crater floor which is the highlight of the trip; this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The highest predator density in Africa and many other wild animals can be found on the crater floor. Although thought of as “a natural enclosure” for a very wide variety of wildlife, 20 percent or more of the wildebeest and half the zebra populations vacate the crater in the wet season. Buffalo and eland do the opposite. Their highest numbers are during the rains. Servals occur widely in the crater.

Return for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

DAY 9: TARANGIRE SOPA LODGE, TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is an awe-inspiring national park comprising of granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetative landscapes, and free-roaming wildlife. During the annual dry season the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. With lion being among the most commonly spotted animal, it is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as Oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe and the wondrous mountains to the south.

Day Itinerary

Breakfast at the lodge. Drive through beautiful vegetation, the path leads you into the Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.  Afternoon game drives in the park best known for the large number of elephants and the mighty baobab trees. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge  

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s best-kept secrets. Close to the town of Arusha and hosting Tanzania’s highest concentration of elephant population in Africa, perhaps than anywhere else in the world.  It has a horizon dominated by the magnificent baobab trees, Legend says that baobab tree once angered God and it was thrown to earth and planted upside down. The trees are known to live for hundreds of year, some say thousands of years.

Tarangire sopa Lodge has 75 large and airy rooms, accommodating 150 guests.  Built to blend with the vastness of its surroundings, the Lodge nestles amongst the rocky outcrops in the north-east of the park.  As the Lodge is one of only a handful in this park, visitors are often rewarded with an exclusive feel to their safari.  Each of the suites has its own private lounge with mini-bar, en-suite bathroom, large bedroom with 2 queen size beds and a balcony.   The Lodge has telephone facilities, satellite TV, a conference room and a uniquely-designed swimming pool with a central island.

Pwani Mchangani

Set on the Zanzibar Archipelago’s largest island, Unguja, Pwani Mchangani is a village known for its spectacular seaside location. It boasts traditional huts, tucked under coconut palms meeting azure waters. Visitors can look forward to snorkelling and diving through the offshore coral reefs, strolling along the uncrowded pristine white-sand beach, enjoy delicious cocktails at a rustic beachfront bar and soak up the sun while relaxing on a lounger. Don’t miss the opportunity to watch a spectacular sunset over the calm waters of the warm Indian Ocean and enjoy an array of thrilling water sports. Day Itinerary

After breakfast, have a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park towards the park exit. Proceed to Arusha arriving in time for lunch at Amani restaurant. Later on transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for schedule flight PW437 ETD1700hrs. 

1820hrs – Arrival at ZNZ met by our representative in Zanzibar and transferred to Ocean Paradise Beach Resort & Spa for dinner and overnight – Stay at the resort on HB in Superior room.
