DAY 1: THE BOMA HOTEL ENTEBBE, ENTEBBE
Entebbe
Situated on a peninsula in Lake Victoria, the former seat of Uganda’s government, Entebbe is just a short drive from the current capital and offers plenty to keep visitors amused. This charming town features tree-lined streets and serves as an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area. Tourists can look forward to spending days on beautiful beaches along the banks of Lake Victoria, stroll through the fields and forests of the magnificent Botanical Gardens, or pay a visit to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a haven for country’s orphaned chimps.
Day Itinerary
On arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will be met by our driver guide and you will be transferred to the Boma hotel for a check-in.
Overnight: The Boma Hotel Entebbe
The Boma Hotel is Entebbe’s original and most exclusive hotel, set in tropical gardens in a leafy suburb, a few minutes’ drive from Entebbe International Airport. Our rooms combine the modern comforts one expects today with the charm and character of the original 1940’s home.

DAY 2: TURACO TREETOPS, KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Kibale Forest National Park
Located in southern Uganda, Kibale Forest National Park is said to be home to the highest density of primates in Africa.
Although the highlight of the park is the habituated chimpanzees, the treetops are alive with all manner of monkey including: red-tailed monkey, L’Hoest’s monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, red colobus and black and white colobus monkeys are all spotted here.
When you’re not searching for monkeys there are over 300 bird species and an incredible 250 species of butterfly to keep you busy. Visitors can look forward to chimpanzee tracking, birding tours and guided nature walks.
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you will be collected by your driver guide and transferred to Turaco Tree tops in Kibale Forest National park for a check-in and a relaxed rest of the day .
Overnight: Turaco Treetops
Turaco Treetops is Kibale Forest’ newest semi-luxe lodge and offers an uncomplicated, and warm-hearted atmosphere and offers guests a unique experience in the forest with stunning views over the snow capped Rwenzori Mountains. Turaco Treetops is the place to go on a chimpanzee trek, share tasty meals, laugh, read a book near the fireplace or take a dip in the refreshing pool.
Turaco Treetops has 8 luxury cottages situated at secluded locations in the jungle. The cottages are spacious, with large windows and outside wooden decks, providing splendid views over Kibale Forest. The cottages are designed to ‘bring the outdoors inside’ and mix modernity with an ‘African feel’ by using clean lines in combination with wood and other natural materials.

DAY 3: TURACO TREETOPS, KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Day Itinerary
Today with an early rise after breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver guide and transferred to the park headquarters for briefing and you will start you chimp trekking adventure.
On meeting the chimps you are allowed an hour with them as you watch them bonding playing and feeding, you will then return to the base where your driver guide will be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for lunch. Late afternoon you will be taken for the Bigodi cultural walk.
Chimpanzee Trekking
The day begins when a group of local trackers leave their camp at 0430hrs to locate where the chimpanzees spent the previous night. Guests set out at 0600hrs to find the chimpanzees. Groups are limited to 4 people and time with the chimpanzees is restricted to one hour.

DAY 4: BUHOMA HAVEN LODGE, BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Located in southwestern Uganda, the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is said to be Africa’s oldest rain forest. It is world-renowned for its excellent Gorilla-sighting opportunities. The rugged landscape features dense jungle, cascading waterfalls, sparkling mountain streams, deep valleys and steep ridges.
This untouched forest has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its breathtaking natural beauty and unique ecological significance. Aside from the amazing gorilla interactions, there are other drawcards such as a network of forest walks, over 340 species of bird to spot and a variety of butterflies.
Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the spectacular Virunga Volcanoes.
Day Itinerary
Today after breakfast , you will be transferred to Buhoma Haven Lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a check-in.
Overnight: Buhoma Haven Lodge
Buhoma Community Haven Lodge opened in December 2014 to help BMCDA cater for clients seeking affordable accommodation. The Buhoma Mukono Community Development Association (BMCDA) has brought together over 7,000 community members for the benefit of development, improved livelihoods, and conservation of natural resources.
Buhoma Haven Lodge is located above Buhoma village, a 5-minute drive from the main road, and this elevated location guarantees excellent views across Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The lodge has 2 beautifully designed twin/double cottages and 1 family cottage, all self-contained (en-suite bathrooms) and merging simple elegance with local materials.
The property was constructed with support from people of America (USADF)’ and they thank the tax payers of America and Uganda in helping change the lives of many. Guests are served 5-course meals blending Western and African cuisine, prepared by Ugandan chefs using locally grown products. For gorilla tracking a packed lunch is also provided.

DAY 5: BUHOMA HAVEN LODGE, BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
Day Itinerary
After breakfast , you will be collected by your driver guide and transferred to the park headquarters for for briefing and you will be allocated porters who will assist with carrying your lunch box and water.
You will then start your gorilla trekking adventure. on meeting the gorillas, you are allowed an hour with them as you watch them bonding, feeding and playing with the young ones.
You will then return to the base where your driver guide will be waiting to transfer you to the lodge .you can either have the afternoon at leisure or visit community activities .

DAY 6: END OF ITINERARY
Day Itinerary
Today after breakfast, you will be picked by your driver guide and transferred to Kihihi airstrip for your 0925hrs schedule departure flight back to Entebbe arriving at 1155hrs on time for your connect your International flight back home or your next destination.
