Situated in along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place, and although it has developed a reputation which keeps tourist visits brief, there are some fascinating attractions: its cafe culture, unbridled nightlife, the National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre and most notably just 20 minutes from the city centre wild lions and buffalo roam in the world’s only urban game reserve. Make sure you pay a visit to the Elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

DAY 2: ELEWANA TORTILIS CAMP AMBOSELI, AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Amboseli National Park
Located in the southern reaches of Kenya, the Amboseli National Park is renowned for its excellent variety of wildlife such as Masaai giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah and not surprisingly it is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the majestic snow cap of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok. The birding is excellent, especially closer to the lakes and swamps. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to large herds of elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and soak up spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Breakfast at Hemmingway’s Nairobi.
Check-out and transfer to Wilson Airport Nairobi, gateway to the flying safaris in Kenya. Time to board the Executive Charter Flight which will now take to the Air! Flight to Amboseli National Park.
After a scenic 45 minutes flight, you will land in the middle of the Park, where our driver guide or the team from Tortilis Camp will warmly welcome you. Enjoy your first game drive en- route to the camp, where you will arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive.
Your stay at Tortilis Camp is for 2 nights in an en-suite Safari Tent, and is on All-Inclusive Basis (Includes all Meals, Bush Activities and Drinks – Excluding premium drinks).
Lunch, Dinner and Overnight: Elewana Tortilis Camp Amboseli
Amboseli is best known for its unrivalled views of Kilimanjaro and the local elephant population. There are over 1000 elephants in the park’s eco-system, featuring some of the largest in Africa. Elewana Tortilis Camp is situated in one of Amboseli’s areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland, with the majestic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, and the World’s highest free-standing mountain, snow-capped Kilimanjaro. Game drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the park, and within a private 30,000 acre game concession. The tents are all spacious, with king or twin beds and elegant ensuite bathrooms. There is a main lounge, bar and dining area, all exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs.

Day Itinerary
Rise early to watch the African plains game wake up on a game drive and stop for a bush breakfast.
Hot lunch will be served at the lodge. If you feel like stretching your legs and seeing the wilderness from a different perspective this afternoon there is a walking safari.
Alternatively you can have another game drive, with both activities culminating in cocktails watching the sunset, before returning to camp for dinner.

DAY 4: ELEWANA ELSA’S KOPJE MERU, MERU NATIONAL PARK
Meru National Park
Situated east of Meru, in beautiful Kenya, Meru National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. Covering over 800 square kilometres, this park is wild and beautiful featuring diverse scenery with lush swamplands, thick jungle, vast savannah, and no less than thirteen rivers. Game to view includes some of the less regularly sighted animals like oryx, lesser kudu, duiker, dik-dik and over 300 species of birds have been recorded. It is here that Else the famous lion from the book and movie ‘Born Free’ lived out the latter part of her life and is buried. Visitors can soak up the spectacular views of Mount Kenya, spot game along the Tana River and view the cascading Adamson’s Falls.
Day Itinerary
Rise early for a game drive, back in time to the camp for breakfast. Check out, and transfer back to the Amboseli airstrip. The plane will now take you to Meru National Park located in the region of Mount Kenya.
Our driverguide will welcome you and transfer to the Lodge, where lunch will be served. You will be offered a massage for pure relaxation, or alternatively go on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. Your stay a t Elsa’s Kopje is for 2 nights in a Cottage Suite, and is on All-Inclusive Basis (Includes all Meals, Bush Activities and Drinks – Excluding Premium Drinks).

Elewana Elsa’s Kopje remains one of the most elegant lodges in Africa, in one of the most spectacular settings. Every cottage has a spectacular view and is uniquely designed and crafted, incorporating the natural features of the rocky hillside. Elewana Elsa’s Kopje offers ensuite cottages, honeymoon cottages, a family cottage and a private house. Rooms feature standard amenities and come with spacious double or twin beds with elegantly appointed bathrooms.

Day Itinerary
Your best chance of spotting game is early in the morning or late afternoon, so rise early and head off into the wilderness.
After a morning filled with excitement return to the lodge to relax and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Explore more of Meru National Park on a game drive with sundowner drinks served overlooking the park, before returning to the lodge in time for dinner.

DAY 6: ELEWANA SAND RIVER MASAI MARA, MASAI MARA
Masai Mara
The Masai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The image of acacia trees dotting endless grass plains epitomises Africa for many, then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need go no further. The undeniable highlight of the Masai Mara National Reserve is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration traversing the vast plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. It is known as the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. Large prides of lions, elephants, giraffes, gazelles and eland can also be spotted in the reserve. Aside from horse riding safaris and traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Mara plains has become almost essential.
Day Itinerary
Enjoy a brisk nature walk and enjoy the views from up the hill which forms the Kopje (or small rocky outcrop) that Elsa’s is built on. Enjoy the rest of the morning at leisure before lunch will be served overlooking Meru National Park.
Your SkySafari pilot will be waiting to take you on a 90-minute flight to the world famous Masai Mara where you land in the middle of the reserve.

Situated along the banks of a river from which it has taken its name, Elewana Sand River Masai Mara is located within the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya on a secluded and picturesque site. Payment
On confirmation of booking, a 40% non – refundable deposit is required. Balance of 60% payment is due not later than 6 weeks (60 days) prior to departure

Please note that you are responsible for the cost of any bank charges incurred in any of the payment processes and payments must be made in the currency in which the quotation was accepted, or in which the invoice is made out.

Cancellation Conditions
Cancellations are only effective on receipt of written notification.
Cancellation conditions vary from supplier to supplier and in certain cases stricter cancellation conditions may apply. Please enquire with our consultant for specific cancellation conditions pertaining to your booking.

ALTERATION TO ITINERARY:
Unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to war, mechanical breakdowns, weather, riots and other unforeseen reasons beyond the control of the Company may cause delays or alterations to the tour. The Company shall not be held liable in any way for any of these possible occurrences or any consequences, which may arise as a result of these. Although every effort is made to adhere to the itinerary, we reserve the right to occasionally change routes as due to changing conditions. We reserve the right to alter itineraries after departure if it is in the Client’s interest to do so.
